The NMAT (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Management Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam for MBA/PGDM admissions. It is conducted by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council). The NMAT scores are accepted by NMIMS along with other participating colleges and universities, such as XIMB, Shiv Nadar University, ICFAI Business School, and more.

The NMAT is a 120-minute computer-based exam consisting of 108 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections:

  • Language Skills (36 Questions / 36 Marks)
  • Quantitative Skills (36 Questions / 36 Marks)
  • Logical Reasoning (36 Questions / 36 Marks)

Each correct answer earns 3 marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Candidates can take the NMAT exam up to three times. The best score achieved across your attempts is considered by the institutes for shortlisting.
  • Registration Deadline: Around September 2025
  • Exam Dates: October to December 2025 (specific dates available during registration)
  • Result Announcement: Usually within 48 hours of taking the exam
  • Focus on time management: You have 120 minutes to answer 108 questions, so practicing timed mock tests is essential.
  • Use our topic-wise tests to improve speed and efficiency in each section.
  • Take full-length mock exams to simulate real exam conditions.
  • Consistent practice and strategic preparation will help you improve accuracy and speed.
