CUET General Test Syllabus

Smart way to CUET preparation

Central University Entrance Test, widely known as CUET, is a national-level entrance test conducted for admissions to the undergraduate programmes at the Central Universities. NTA will be conducting the exam for the academic year 2023-24. The CUET scores and the fulfilment of the eligibility requirements will decide the candidate's admission.

The CUET exam contains 3 sections –Language Test, Domain-specific Test and General Test. In this article, we will explore Section III, which includes 75 questions, out of which the candidates must attempt 60 questions. The duration of the test will be of 1 hour. CUET General Test Syllabus 2024

Candidates preparing for the exam must stay prepared by knowing all the important information. If you want to take the CUET Exam in 2024, you should know what is on the CUET General Test curriculum before getting ready. During the General Test part of the CUET, candidates will be asked questions about general knowledge, current events, general mental ability, general numerical ability, quantitative reasoning, and logical and analytical reasoning. CUET General Test Preparation Tips

  1. You should familiarise yourself with the in-depth test and ensure that you completely comprehend the exam format and content.
  2. To begin, you should develop a strategy for the next exam. To do this, applicants must first review the list of subjects to determine the areas in which they excel and those they struggle.
  3. Create a study schedule that you will be able to adhere to daily. You must discuss at least one topic from each of the sections daily.
  4. Stick to the schedule, and study every day. Be consistent.
  5. Make an effort to keep yourself abreast of events occurring on both the national and international levels. Articles from newspapers and magazines should be read.
  6. It would be best to go through the NCERTs for your class and the course overview. This will assist you in achieving success on the CUET examination that you will be taking in 2024.
  7. Before the exam, make sure you don't let yourself get sidetracked or lose your motivation. Have faith that you will make progress in the path that you choose!
  8. It would be best to give yourself a few practice examinations to ease your anxieties and prepare yourself for the actual examination. You will also learn how to accurately and swiftly respond to questions with the aid of these papers.
