Programs
Post Graduate Diploma in Management – PGDM
The two year Post Graduate Programme has three terms in
the first year, and two in the second year. Courses equivalent to
15-18 credit units are normally slated for a term. The students
go through a rigorous and continuous evaluation system for each
course throughout the term.
Admissions Procedure
Admission to TAPMI's 2 year Post Graduate Programme is
based purely on the merit of the candidate and is based on the Common
Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs. Candidates seeking admission
to TAPMI may please observe the following procedure:
- Register for the Common Admission Test (CAT) and appear for
the test on the date specified. Simultaneously, apply to TAPMI
on separate TAPMI Application Form
- TAPMI Application Forms will be sold up to November 30, 2004.
Completed application forms should reach the Admissions office
latest by December 3, 2004.
- Candidates who have applied for admission to TAPMI will be short
listed on the basis of their CAT scores. The short listed candidates
will be called to Manipal in April for GD, Written Test and Personal
Interviews.
Eligibility:
A student applying to TAPMI should have at least a three year (10+2+3)
University degree, recognized by the AIU as eligible for post graduation,
in any discipline with not less than 50% in the overall aggregate
(45% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for final year degree examination
in 2005 can also apply. Those with qualifications like Chartered
Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary ship should also
have a (10+2+3) bachelor's degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks
(45% for SC/ST).
Candidates who are in their final year of graduation will be allowed
to join the programme only if they complete all their requirements
for obtaining the degree before June 15, 2005. But the marks card
and certificates need to be produced before 1-9-05.
