Courses Offered
Masters in Business Administration (Dual Specialization)
Eligibility: A graduate from any statutory University with
a minimum of 50% marks at graduation level. Candidates passing degree
examination by part time / correspondence course, or in one sitting
are not eligible. Final year appearing students can apply but their
admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks.
Intake: A total of 120 students shall be selected
for this course. These include:
15% and 7.5% of seats reserved for SC / ST candidates respectively.
15% seats reserved for sponsored candidates.
2% seats reserved for physically handicapped candidates.
Kashmiri Migrants - 2 seats, over and above the total intake.
Sponsored Category: Any Company or organization
whose turnover is above Rs. 5 crores p.a. could sponsor a candidate
applying under this category.
Selection Procedure: The selection procedure consists
of initially a Written Examination. Subsequently, a qualified candidate
undertakes a Group Discussion & a Personal Interview.
Written communication skills: An essay would have
to be written by the student before he/she appears for the G.D.
& Individual Presentation and after the process is complete
students would be required to write a report based on his / her
observation.
Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Communication
Management
From the Academic Year 2004-05, the MPACM course will be
re-christened as MBA in Communications Management.
Eligibility: A graduate from any statutory University
with a minimum of 50% marks at graduation level. Candidates passing
degree examination by part time / correspondence course, or in one
sitting are not eligible. Final year appearing students can apply
but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50%
marks.
Intake: A total of 40 students shall be selected
for this course. These include:
15% and 7.5% of seats reserved for SC / ST candidates respectively.
15% seats reserved for sponsored candidates.
2% seats reserved for physically handicapped candidates.

- Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
Eligibility: Graduate or Diploma holder with work
experience of 2 years. Intake of 60 students per course. The selection
is done through Interviews.
Executive MBA Program
It is a 30 months, part-time, postgraduate degree programme.
Eligibility: The SIBM Executive MBA is open to
Bachelor's Degree holders with a minimum of 5 years' work experience
after graduation.
Company sponsored candidate: The candidate must
furnish the basic eligibility criteria for applying under this category.
Candidate must be working in the sponsoring company at the time
of admission.
Selection Procedure: The selection shall be on
the basis of entrance test. The test will be of objective type with
no negative marking. Students will be tested on Business Awareness
/ Verbal Ability / Reasoning Ability / Personnel test etc. Intake:
Total 60 Seats (Open 30/ Company Sponsored 30)
