Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT) is a member
of Symbiosis family known for excellence in higher education. SCIT
is a unique autonomous institute for postgraduate IT education in
India dedicated exclusively to evolving domain specific IT professionals.
Programs
Master's Programme in Information Technology (Residential)
SCIT offers autonomous postgraduate Programmes in two sessions:
January & June. The Programmes offered in these sessions are
Masters Programme in Information Technology (MPIT) and Post Graduate
Diploma.
Eligibility: Graduates with minimum 50% marks
from a recognized university. Those awaiting final year results
may also apply.
Stage 1: SNAP Test
Stage 2: GD/PI
Post Graduate Diploma in Information Security (Non-residential)
The specializations available are:
- IT Business Management Specialization
- Network Specialization
- Software Specialization
Eligibility: Graduates in Computer Science, IT
and Engineering with minimum 50% of marks from a recognized university.
Candidates with experience in Network administration, Systems administration
will be preferred.
Master's Programme in Information Technology (MPIT) by
Research (Off campus)
Eligibility:
- Graduate with 50% marks from a recognized university and work
experience of at-least 2 years in the IT industry.
- Adequate infrastructure at the work place to undergo the practical
components of the programme.
- Availability of a mentor at the work place or in an affiliated
organization located in the same city of residence. Mentor should
hold Master's / PhD degree and should have a work experience of
at-least 5 years after acquiring Master's / PhD degree.
Admission Procedure:
- Download the Application form
- Send the completed form alongwith necessary certificates and
a DD of Rs. 500.00 in favour of "Symbiosis Center for Information
Technology", payable at Pune.
- Short-listed candidates will be intimated by E-mail. Such candidates
should confirm admission by paying the registration charges and
term fees.
