National Institute of Fashion Technology was set up in1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It has emerged as the premier Institute of Design, Management and Technology, developing professionals for taking up leadership positions in fashion business in the emerging global scenario.

Program

PG Programme in Management

The objective of the 2 year postgraduate programme in Fashion Management is to impart apparel specific marketing, merchandising and management professional education to enable the students to respond to rapidly changing demands of the industry.

Eligibility: Graduation from a recognised University or Diploma in Acessory / Fashion Design / FIT from NIFT only

The prospectus can be obtained by post on payment of Rs.300/- or by hand for Rs.200/- through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of NIFT, New Delhi, payable at New Delhi from the following NIFT Centres: New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.

PG Programme in Technology

The programme is designed to train students to strive to excel in understanding and integrating the areas of technology and management for apparel manufacturing. The postgraduate programme will train students in functional specialities and impart skills, which will enable them to contribute significantly in the Fashion Technology domain of the industry.

Eligibility: B.E. / B. Tech (Textiles / Apparels / Mechanical / Industrial / Production / Electronics / Computer / Information Technology)
