Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) had its origin in the year 1979. Located in the sprawling campus of scenic and idyllic Loyola College (established in 1925) environs, LIBA is one of the most prestigious management institutes in South India.

International Linkages

LIBA has been able to foster international linkages through MoUs with renowned business schools in the United States, Europe and Australia. Based on mutual recognition, these linkages would provide excellent opportunities for studies, research and other joint academic pursuits to the students and faculty of Libation keeping with spirit of globalization; these linkages are aimed to promote international understanding and friendship.

As of now, Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, USA, Bordeaux School of Management, Bordeaux University, Talence, France and Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia have signed MoUs with LIBA

Courses Offered

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM: Full Time)

The two year Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is equivalent to a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA). The programme is streamlined and well-articulated to provide the best inputs in management education.

Eligibility

The applicant needs to be a graduate from a recognized University with at least 50% aggregate marks. Final year degree students taking their examinations may also apply.

Admission Process

Admission to PGDBA will be based on scores obtained from the XLRI Admission Test (XAT) conducted by XLRI, Candidates short-listed on the basis of XAT scores will be called for Group Discussion and Interview by LIBA for final selection.

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM: Part Time)

Eligibility

• The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or hold a professional qualification recognized as equivalent to a bachelor's degree and should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
• The applicant should have had full-time work experience in Business / Industry / Government for a minimum period of two years.
• The applicant should be employed at the time of applying for the programme.
