Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur is engaged in carrying out
original research of significance and technology development at
the cutting edge.
Programs
Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
IITK MBA course is carefully structured and integrated
with class room teaching, case discussions, hands-on industry experience
with internship and project work. It grooms its graduates to become
capable of managing modern enterprises effectively and independently.
The first phase consists of a Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET)
conducted for admission to MBA programmes in various IITs and IISc
Bangalore. In the second phase, the short listed candidates are
subsequently screened through Group Discussions and Personal Interviews,
to select a pool of the most talented students for the MBA Programme
at IIT Kanpur.
Placement
The MBA 2005 batch placement week started effectively from
15th December, 2004 and lasted for only a span of three days during
which 31 offers were made to 27 students who participated in the
placement process.
