INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT, KOZHIKODE

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode was set up by the Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala as the 5th Indian Institute of Management. Programs

Post Graduate Programme (PGP)

The Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in management is designed to rest on three supporting pillars: a proper balance of theory and practice, aligning of courses to match continuously with industry requirements, and an abiding concern for the larger society.

Eligibility

At least a three-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE as eligible for post-graduate studies in management. Candidates appearing for the Bachelor's degree examination are also eligible to apply, provided they complete all their graduating requirements including practical examinations/viva voce/assignments. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to provisionally. Further, they would have to produce the mark sheet and a certificate of having passed the Bachelor's degree on or before the date of registration for Term II (second half of September). Non-fulfillment of these requirements will automatically result in cancellation of the provisional admission.

Admission to the two year Post Graduate Programme (PGP) is open for Graduates from all disciplines through the nationally administered Common Admission Test (CAT), jointly organized by all the six IIMs in India every year. The notification for this usually appears in major news dailies in India around August and the test is conducted during the month of December. IIMK also admits Non Resident Indians and International students to its PGP.

Candidates applying for CAT are automatically eligible to apply for the PGP of IIM Kozhikode. The application fee is already included in the cost of Bulletin, and no additional fee is to be paid for applying to IIM Kozhikode. Candidates applying to IIM Kozhikode must darken the appropriate oval under item 4 of the PGP Application Form-cum-Answer Sheet.

Executive Management Education Programme (eMEP)

The Executive Management Education Programme, the first of its kind to be offered in the Asia Pacific region, is designed exclusively for working professionals. The programme attempts to fulfil the demands of the Indian Corporates for continued training and development of its executive workforce by offering a wide spectrum of courses encompassing all functional areas of management. The Interactive Onsite Learning Component forms the core of eMEP.
